Guanajuato International Film Festival once again offers a space that generate special attention among filmmakers: the Bilateral Forum, which seeks to strengthen links between the film industries of Mexico and the Philippines, Spotlight Country in this edition of GIFF which celebrates one hundred years of its cinematography.

Both nations put the background of their industries within reach and seek to encourage the collaborative relationship through the exchange of proposals and new policies for the creation of public and private funds, as well as agreements that promote professionalization, funding opportunities, co-production and distribution.
