Among the Special Screenings of the 21st edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival is the Movies with Mummy program on Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21 at the San Miguel de Allende Municipal Cemetery and on Thursday July 26 and Friday July 27 at the Santa Paula Cemetery in Guanajuato City.
This selection includes a wide variety of international short films featuring nightmarish horror stories. Several feature films will also be screened, such as the celebrated Brazilian film Good Manners—a story with elements of lycanthropy and social critique–, The Night Eats the World —a zombie apocalypse— and Pyewacket —about the dangers of playing with the unknown.
Classical horror Mexican films will also be screened, such as: Poison for the fairies. All of these films will most likely cause a chill down the living or dead spines of all those who attend the cemetery starting at 22:00 hrs.
