GIFF’s music scene will open up this Sunday at 18:00 hrs with electronic music, preparing the festive environment to later listen to the crow of El Gallo Cósmico, promising to delight the audience at the Main Garden in San Miguel de Allende with his Cosmic Brass inspired revolutionary sound.
Originally from Mexico City, El Gallo has flown to states like Guanajuato, Quintana Roo and the State of México. Her international launching was during 2017’s edition of the Santa Tecla International Art and Jazz Festival in El Salvador. From then, the group has shared the stage with renowned bands like Jenny and the Mexicats, El Gran Silencio and Porter.
Fapsterdam, their first album, launched in November of 2016, features a vibrant musical set of brass and even funk, going through bossa nova, disco, jazz and hip hop. This mix has been transmitted live as well, with musical guests, for those who love a more natural sound.
With two saxophones, a drummer, the sound of a synthesizer, a base and a keyboard, the music of this band promises an astral trip for those attending their live presentations. Don’t miss this musical party led by this band today at 19:00 hrs and allow yourself to be taken by their cosmis rhythms.
