Cats took over the Internet, our hearts and, as if that weren’t enough, film festivals. A precedent is the Cat Video Festival organized by Will Braden and Marija Milovanovic since 2012, where the best is awarded the Golden Kitty. To this edition GIFF brings Cats just wanna have fun!, made up of five CATegories to introduce the most fun feline celebrities, as well as some of the best music videos featuring cats.
Enjoy a dreamy look at the camera, a daring jump out the window or a paw that gently brushes through whiskers. No human being can break the iron will of a cat. They defy gravity, ignore the rules of decent behavior and make the world their own special playing field.
Besides introducing celebrities like Lil Bub, Henri Le Chat Noir and Keyboard Cat, this program also includes home videos with cats from all over the world and short films that debuted in international film festivals.
