The Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) in its 25th anniversary presents the tenth consecutive edition of Epicenter XR GIFF, a section dedicated to innovation in film technology that includes virtual reality, metaverse and for the first time Virtual Production.

As part of the constant technological innovation that drives the moving image industry, these avant-garde expressions go hand in hand with the vision for the future that has led GIFF to be the Latin American pioneer in virtual reality.

On this occasion, the official selection on the virtual reality competition is presented for the fifth year, with the best of national and international production. These include 10 participating countries, both in 360 video and immersive free movement experiences that will be available in GIFF’s three host cities.
