The film, narrated in a single day, presents diverse storie of Canadians filming themselves at different times of their lives. Trish Dolman, director of the film, is the founder of Screen Siren Pictures and one of Canada’s leading producers, highlighting in her work the productions of the feature films Flower & Garnet, Daydream Nation, as well as Hector and the Search for Happiness.
In this same screening will be presented the short film Welcome to Canada, which tells the story of a young Syrian refugee granted asylum in Canada who helps families in similar scenario to resettle and reclaim hope. Directed by Adam Lofte and Mary Fowles, renowned documentary and journalist filmmakers respectively, this is a film that you definitely should not miss.
