Young filmmakers confront 48 hours of intensive filmmaking
On the steps of the State Auditorium, at 11:00 a.m., the Flag will fly to launch the 11th edition of the University Rally, a competition in which six teams from six states of the country will undertake the enormous challenge of making a short film in the span of 48 hours.
Complying with the requirements of each short film from its pre-production stage to the final delivery, the participating teams have been trained in 26 specialization workshops by industry professionals and filmmakers engaged in cinema that lend their time and effort to guide these young filmmakers.
The result is a six-minute short film that uses the magnificent scenery offered by the beautiful city of Guanajuato, a Human Heritage city, as a location.
Join these young film enthusiasts during the beginning of this cinematic adventure, through which the Guanajuato International Film Festival seeks to boost the development of new talents and foster the passion of young filmmakers to create innovative and fresh projects within the industry.
