The film takes us to the Tahltan First Nation, who has lived in remote Northwestern British Columbia for thousands of years and they call their land Koneline, which means our land beautiful. This art film about politics, drama and humor explores different ways of seeing and being. It is a celebration of the region and the people who dream and move across it.
Her filmmaker, Nettie Wild, is one of Canada’s leading documentary filmmakers. She has been honored at film festivals around the World and acclaimed for the social critique she does in her movies. Her film Koneline: Our Land Beautiful premiered at the HotDocs Film Festival in Toronto and won the festival’s award for Best Canadian Feature Documentary.
