MUSIC + CINEMA CONCERTS
The Guanajuato International Film Festival music scene for this Sunday will open at 4:00 p.m. with Mexican music performed by singer/songrwriter Elix Chavez accompanied by Mariachi. This concert, brought to you by Blackard Productions, promises to delight its audience with a repertoire of traditional and contemporary music that will make all Mexicans vibrate.
Later at 5:00 p.m., the all-female band Las Luz y Fuerza takes the stage. With corrosive lyrics and a fun and casual scenic movement, actress, singer and cabaret artist Laura de Ita, along with two female musicians with extensive experience in different musical scenes (Marina de Ita and Oceana Castañeda), will offer a unique concert you won’t soon forget.
