Virtual Reality and immersive experiences continue to own GIFF in its new locations in Guanajuato City with the seventh edition of Epicenter, an axe of innovation and a showcase of the future of narrative filmmaking.
The audience of this second stage can enjoy the best of Mexican and international VR cinema, as well as a wide selection of special showings, immersive experiences, conferences and an important link between filmmakers and VR developers.
The registration for activities will be at Palacio de los Poderes starting at 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. After registration, the audience can enter starting at 10:00 am, approximately every 30 minutes, and become part of the INMER Special Showing from the Mexican Institute of Mixed Realities, which bring projects like Adagio, Balada and Canción del Agua, among other activities, such as screenings of the Official Selection and Special Screenings.
Also follow the events that Epicenter brings to Museo del Pueblo starting at 10:00 am with their immersion room and the Create Your Virtual World workshop, which will take place from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. In this workshop, those attending can interact through the use of new technology with the pieces of the exposition and submerge in different virtual experiences.
