The constant threat of rain, which only resulted in a light drizzle, did not stop the fans from cluttering up Cinemex to eagerly wait to see the members of Zoé walk the red carpet, celebrating 20 years of a musical career that has consolidated them as one of the most popular rock bands in Mexico, as well as one of the most recognized worldwide and arguably the most successful of the last decade.
Shortly after 7:00 pm, the crew of the band arrived at the venue to walk the Red Carpet prior to the presentation of Panoramas, a documentary that premiered last year at GIFF and features the story of Zoé’s first international tour. Even people who were strolling through Plaza La Luciérnaga came to meet the musicians, as well as have the opportunity to see this film directed by drummer Rodrigo Guardiola, a film that mixes the best of the group’s music with an excellent visual quality, which makes it an exhilarating experience that has achieved unanimous praise from critics and audiences.
The screening served as a prelude to the Zoé happening, a joint celebration of the 20 years of the Guanajuato International Film Festival in which the band’s most important music videos were screened, closing out with a DJ session by DJ Set.
