PERVERSIÓN: MANUAL DEL USUARIO
Time: 12:00
Location: Auditorio de la Universidad de Guanajuato
By: Juan Ramón Velázquez
In spite of this habit that has clouded our sensibilities, for some modern life is horrifying. This short film appears to be a fruit of such an experience. Adrián Martínez analizes what he considers a fundamental perversion at the center of the socio-economic system that builds up our civilization, bringing visions of nightmares brought up from human exploitation and the nature of satisfying a perverse necessity for power and control.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Official Selection Animation
SOLAR WALK
Time: 18:00
Location: Auditorio de la Universidad de Guanajuato
By: Juan Ramón Velázquez
This short film from Hungarian filmmaker Réka Bucsi is a contemplative journey through cosmic landscapes populated by extravagant characters that alter our sense of scale. One creation makes way for another and that produces another: they all change constantly, travelling and enjoying the voyage through space.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Special Showing 1968

SUICIDRAG
Time: 22:00
Location: Túnel del Sol
By: Juan Ramón Velázquez
A group of drag queens, members of the Suicidrag collective, walk the streets of Mexico. The people on the streets and public transportation spare no looks or comments on the outfits and the makeup that walk out without fear to spread awareness on unease with genre stereotypes imposed on a consumer society. This documentary allows us to listen to the voices of a minority that bravely faces all types of arbitrary obstacles to freely expressing their vision on sexuality.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
