For twelve years, Guanajuato International Film Festival has worked with the Mexican Film Institute to build a space recognized by film industry professionals, the Bilateral Forum.

This year the forum will count with participation from film industry authority and members both from Mexico and the Philippines —this edition’s Spotlight Country—, whom will search jointly the optimal conditions to build an agreement between both industries. They will work different aspects of film industrial process, revisiting the backgrounds of both cinema traditions, their similitudes and their collaborative history, to bridge the gap between the two nations.
