By La Matatena and Lucas Fernández
Like every year, the Guanajuato International Film Festival opens up playful learning spaces for children, offering workshops that instill a passion for creation, film appreciation and the capacity for coexistence around innovation and play.
For this edition, apart from the special Kids in Action program which presents two gala screenings of the films Tesoros y Captain Underpants, the tikes will participate in the Introduction to Animation workshop, given by the Asociación de Cine para Niñas y Niños, La Matatena, where they teach children to recognize different animation techniques. This session will also be given in Guanajuato on Friday July 28 at noon at Centro Bharati.
For his part, Lucas Fernández from Territorio Gestión Cultural, will offer a workshop today at 10:00 hrs at Museo La Esquina (Museo del Juguete), the Composing Stories workshop, where the tikes will learn the routes and the magic of storytelling, taking them through completing the vision of forming Kids en Action.
