Children are the future of our world, which also means they’re the future of cinema. Which is why the Guanajuato International Film Festival would not be complete without a celebration that injects a passion for cinema into those who are still small. Just like in San Miguel de Allende, now the children of Guanajuato City, or those who are visiting this beautiful city, will have the chance to walk a Red Carpet outside the Juárez Theater, take pictures on said carpet and watch a movie. This is where Andrés Waissbluth’s Elephant the Horse will be screened, a film which tells the story of two very different brothers united by a very special mission: rescue their recently-deceased grandfather’s beloved horse who has just been captured by the circus.
This is the time for the children to own the catchphrase “More Cinema Please”.
