A graduate in Communication Sciences, this screenwriter, director and producer introduced himself to animation in a self-learning way and earned unsuspected successes for his short films Sin Sostén and Hasta los huesos. While Sin sostén was distinguished by close to ten showcases and festivals, Hasta los huesos got more than thirty awards, among which are the Best Animated Short prizes at Annecy, FICG and the Ariel ceremony. In 2005 he founded the animation studio Mandaraka Productions. Currently he writes, directs and produces his first feature, Thingdom, co-produced by a Chinese studio.
