Vancouver Film School (VFS), una de las m\u00e1s distinguidas instituciones de arte del entretenimiento a nivel mundial, ofrecer\u00e1 un taller de Guionismo para cortometraje en asociaci\u00f3n con el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato del a\u00f1o en curso.<\/p>\n

Los participantes del festival est\u00e1n invitados a inscribir sus guiones con las siguientes caracter\u00edsticas:<\/strong><\/p>\n

-M\u00e1ximo 8 cuartillas de extensi\u00f3n.
\n-Redactados en ingl\u00e9s.
\n-Limitados a tres locaciones o menos.
\n-M\u00e1ximo siete personajes con di\u00e1logo.
\n-La historia deber\u00e1 estar centrada en los personajes (por favor evitar los efectos especiales o escenas peligrosas).<\/p>\n

De todos los guiones presentados, 12 escritores ser\u00e1n seleccionados para participar en el taller impartido por el director del programa de Guionismo para Cine y Televisi\u00f3n de VFS, Michael Baser (Three\u2019s Company, Full House), acompa\u00f1ado por un instructor Senior de VFS. Los participantes experimentar\u00e1n un taller riguroso e ilustrativo, similar a los que tienen lugar en el programa de un a\u00f1o de VFS.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de este taller que se lleva a cabo en el marco del Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (del 30 de julio al 03 de agosto), VFS tambi\u00e9n ofrecer\u00e1 a los participantes la oportunidad de ganar una de dos becas parciales para el programa de un a\u00f1o de Guionismo para Cine y Televisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Sobre el programa de Guionismo para Cine y Televisi\u00f3n en Vancouver Film School (VFS):<\/b><\/p>\n

Fundada en 1987, Vancouver Film School es la principal instituci\u00f3n de educaci\u00f3n profesional en artes del entretenimiento en Canad\u00e1 y una de las primeras del mundo. Con 13 programas orientados a la producci\u00f3n y un modelo de educaci\u00f3n de un a\u00f1o, l\u00edder a nivel mundial, VFS prepara a los estudiantes para unirse a la econom\u00eda creativa. En el reconocido programa de Guionismo para Cine y Televisi\u00f3n, los alumnos aprenden el papel del guionista en la industria al escribir, trabajar en talleres y colaborar en una variedad de formas narrativas: guiones de corto y largometrajes, guiones de series de televisi\u00f3n, de programas piloto, comedias, y documentales. Los graduados de este programa en
\nVFS incluyen a Terri Tatchell, nominado al Oscar por Distrito 9 y a Seth Lochhead, el guionista detr\u00e1s de Hanna.<\/p>\n

Se abre la inscripci\u00f3n a partir del Lunes 2 de junio de 2014 y se cierra a las 11:59 pm del 01 de julio de 2014. Los guiones deber\u00e1n ser enviados por correo electr\u00f3nico a eventsmx@vfs.com<\/a> y a industria@guanajuatofilmfestival.com<\/a> para ser considerados.<\/p>\n

Los asistentes al taller deber\u00e1n cubrir sus propios gastos de transportaci\u00f3n, hospedaje y alimentaci\u00f3n.

Vancouver Film School (VFS), one of the most distinguished entertainment arts institutions in the world, will be offering a short film writing workshop in association with this year\u2019s Guanajuato International Film Festival.<\/p>\n

 
\n<\/p>\n

Festival participants are invited to submit short scripts that conform to the following guidelines:<\/p>\n

<\/b> <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. 1. No more than eight pages in length<\/li>\n
  2. 2. Written in English<\/li>\n
  3. 3. Limited to three locations or fewer<\/li>\n
  4. 4. No more than seven speaking characters<\/li>\n
  5. 5. Character-driven storyline (please avoid special effects, stunts, and explosions)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    From the submitted scripts, 12 applicants will be selected to participate in workshops led by VFS’s Head of Writing for Film & Television, Michael Baser (Three\u2019s Company, Full House), and a VFS Senior Writing Instructor. Participants will be guided through a rigorous and enlightening workshop, similar to those taking place throughout a year at VFS. In addition to these workshops held during the Guanajuato International Film Festival (July 30-Aug 3), VFS will also be offering festival participants a chance to win one of two partial scholarships to attend the one-year Writing for Film & Television program. <\/p>\n
