The six <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uralluring.com\/faqs\/\">slot777<\/a> finalist teams undertake the production of a high-quality short film within a timed period of 48 hours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meeting the specific requirements of each short film, from pre-production to final delivery, the teams are trained through some twenty specialized workshops led by industry professionals who dedicate their time and effort to guiding these young filmmakers. The result is a six-minute short film screened at the 29th Guanajuato International Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>STAGE 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The Guanajuato International Film Festival invites all university students from the Mexican Republic to participate in the Seventeenth GIFF University Rally.<\/li>\n<li>The first step is to submit your script using the online registration form at the following link: <u><a href=\"https:\/\/vp.eventival.com\/guanajuato\/giff-2025\">https:\/\/vp.eventival.com\/guanajuato\/giff-2025.<\/a><\/u> To access, you need to create an account and log in.<\/li>\n<li>Similarly, <strong>SEND THE SCRIPT<\/strong> to the email <strong>rally@guanajuatofilmfestival.com with the author&#8217;s name and the university they belong to (there will be no exceptions).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>There is no limit to the number of projects that can be submitted; however, only one proposal per institution will be selected as a finalist.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Participants must register and submit their projects no later than 12:00pm <u>(noon, <\/u> <u>central time of the country<\/u> ) on Thursday, November 27, 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The scripts must be original and submitted according to the following guidelines:\n<ol>\n<li>The topic (is open).<\/li>\n<li>The scripts must be written in a maximum of six pages in film format, corresponding to a short film of 6 minutes in duration.<\/li>\n<li>The stories must be set in the Guanajuato state region and be able to be produced in 48 hours.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>stories<\/strong> must be <strong>narratively complete<\/strong> and <strong>take place in at least four different locations<\/strong> , involving movement between each of them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>At least two locations must have night and day scenes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The scripts must include <strong>both interior and exterior locations<\/strong> in any combination. The number of sets used at each location is irrelevant.<\/li>\n<li>The script should <strong>include at least one scene filmed with a drone.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The script should contain <strong>1 to 3 main characters<\/strong> .<\/li>\n<li><strong>The entire production must be recorded with a single camera.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>If the script is based on an existing work<\/strong> (novel, short story, or any other literary genre), you must attach the corresponding authorization from the author of the original work and the publishing house; or present, if applicable, the document that proves that the work is in the public domain and meet the above requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2nd STAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>25 stories will be pre-selected<\/strong> . These projects <strong>will be notified via email, where they will be asked to submit a video response, <\/strong> <strong>with a maximum duration of 2:00 min.<\/strong> The video response will present a scene from the same script, showing the aesthetic and production design that they intend to achieve with their short film.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>evaluation criteria<\/strong> for the video response are:\n<ol>\n<li>Narrative<\/li>\n<li>Photograph<\/li>\n<li>Lightning<\/li>\n<li>Sound<\/li>\n<li>Sound Design<\/li>\n<li>Color Correction<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>The pre-selected scripts as well as the video responses<\/strong> will be evaluated by a jury, which will choose the 6 winning projects to participate in the 3rd stage of the Rally; <strong>the jury&#8217;s decision will be final.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The 6 selected stories from the Rally will be announced at the end of December 2025 via the registered email address.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Each selected project must register a total of ten students<\/strong> , who will have one or more roles to fill, such as: Director, Assistant Director, Producer, Production Assistant, Photographer, Photography Assistant, Sound, Sound Assistant, Art Director, Art Assistant, Editor, Film Editor, Sound Designer, Public Relations Officer, Community Manager, Spokesperson, Graphic Designer, etc. Under no circumstances may teams receive help from anyone other than the ten registered members <strong>(Co-Directors are not allowed in any of the roles).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Teams must be composed entirely of undergraduate students from the same university they represent<\/strong> . Faculty and alumni may participate as advisors in the first stage and during pre-production, but they will not be eligible to be part of the crew. <strong>Each team must verify that its members are currently enrolled students or that they graduated during the August\/December 2025 semester.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Stage 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>The six selected teams will be trained through workshops <\/strong> <strong>and\/or master classes<\/strong> taught by film industry professionals every weekend from <strong><em>January to June 2026<\/em><\/strong> , in person and\/or virtually.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Los equipos seleccionados deber\u00e1n realizar su cortometraje: filmaci\u00f3n, edici\u00f3n y postproducci\u00f3n, en un m\u00e1ximo de 48hrs, durante el marco de celebraci\u00f3n de la XXIX edici\u00f3n del Festival Internacional de Cine Guanajuato. De no cumplir con los procesos dentro de los 6 meses de capacitaci\u00f3n y las 48hrs de filmaci\u00f3n, los proyectos ser\u00e1n descalificados y por ende no ser\u00e1n tomados en consideraci\u00f3n para ser proyectados.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Las obras finales tendr\u00e1n una duraci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima de 6 minutos incluyendo cr\u00e9ditos y logos.<\/li>\n<li>A partir del cumplimiento de las actividades programadas durante los 6 meses de capacitaci\u00f3n. Se podr\u00e1n conseguir algunos elementos pre-producidos como: Dise\u00f1o de producci\u00f3n, arte, inserts, efectos visuales, bibliotecas de m\u00fasica, efectos sonoros, etc; bajo previa coordinaci\u00f3n y autorizaci\u00f3n con la direcci\u00f3n de Rally.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>EL FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE GUANAJUATO se comprometer\u00e1 a:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Realizar talleres y asesor\u00edas<\/strong> de: guion, direcci\u00f3n, iluminaci\u00f3n, fotograf\u00eda, direcci\u00f3n de actores, audio, producci\u00f3n, postproducci\u00f3n, correcci\u00f3n de color, manejo de la c\u00e1mara, edici\u00f3n, dise\u00f1o sonoro, direcci\u00f3n de arte, etc. durante el proceso de preproducci\u00f3n para la correcta planeaci\u00f3n de los proyectos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tramitar los permisos de filmaci\u00f3n en los espacios y recintos de \u00edndole p\u00fablica en el municipio donde se llevar\u00e1n a cabo las 48 hrs<\/strong>. <strong>Nota:<\/strong> s\u00f3lo se permitir\u00e1 grabar dentro de la ciudad sede, no se aprobar\u00e1n locaciones fuera del municipio, las comunidades y\/o los alrededores que queden fuera de la jurisdicci\u00f3n del mismo, esto por temas de seguridad, por lo cual <strong>no existir\u00e1<\/strong> <strong>excepci\u00f3n alguna.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Realizar la convocatoria de dos actores por cada historia, los cuales una vez que el festival los asigne no se realizar\u00e1n cambios. <\/strong>El festival cubrir\u00e1 \u00fanicamente el traslado desde el lugar de residencia de cada talento al municipio de grabaci\u00f3n y viceversa, adem\u00e1s del hospedaje de cada uno.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Otorgar acreditaci\u00f3n<\/strong> del festival para los 10 integrantes de los equipos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Invitar a un jurado<\/strong> calificador para el concurso, integrado por profesionales de la industria cinematogr\u00e1fica.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organizar la cobertura de prensa durante el evento<\/strong> y siguiendo la premiaci\u00f3n, de esta manera asegurando la m\u00e1xima atenci\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Entregar un premio a los equipos que seleccione el jurado.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Promocionar el evento<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de su p\u00e1gina de internet y en todos sus materiales publicitarios.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proporcionar las islas de edici\u00f3n<\/strong> (cub\u00edculos con conexiones el\u00e9ctricas, estables, seguras y con iluminaci\u00f3n necesaria).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>CADA EQUIPO PARTICIPANTE se comprometer\u00e1 a:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>La direcci\u00f3n y producci\u00f3n<\/strong> de cada crew se encargar\u00e1n de <strong>mantener la comunicaci\u00f3n efectiva y asertiva con el festival<\/strong> y <strong>coordinar\u00e1n el cumplimiento de los compromisos que se adquirir\u00e1n al ingresar a dicha convocatoria.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gestionar el equipo de filmaci\u00f3n<\/strong>: c\u00e1mara, audio, drone, iluminaci\u00f3n, equipo de c\u00f3mputo para edici\u00f3n de audio y montaje del proyecto, para poder llevar a cabo las actividades durante los talleres de capacitaci\u00f3n, sus maquetas y las 48 hrs, as\u00ed como, todo lo t\u00e9cnico necesario para el proyecto.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gestionar y asegurar<\/strong> <strong>el transporte, los alimentos y el hospedaje para los 10 integrantes de cada crew durante la realizaci\u00f3n de los talleres presenciales en los meses de capacitaci\u00f3n, los d\u00edas previos al arranque y durante las 48 hrs en la sede oficial del Rally as\u00ed como, en las diferentes sedes del festival<\/strong>, ya que el comit\u00e9 organizador del GIFF les asignar\u00e1 a cada crew una agenda de actividades, mismas que ser\u00e1n complementarias a su formaci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica. <strong>Es un compromiso que adquirir\u00e1n todos los participantes inscritos en la convocatoria del Decimos\u00e9ptimo Rally Universitario GIFF (sin excepci\u00f3n alguna).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>De igual manera cada crew debe de considerar tambi\u00e9n los vi\u00e1ticos anteriormente descritos previo y durante las 48 hrs para:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Una o dos personas como m\u00e1ximo que cada equipo gestionar\u00e1 para el levantamiento de foto fija y video<\/strong>, ya que este material se compartir\u00e1 a la direcci\u00f3n del Rally Universitario GIFF como parte de las evidencias fotogr\u00e1ficas y para la elaboraci\u00f3n del making of que cada equipo realizar\u00e1. Dicho producto se proyectar\u00e1 durante el ciclo de muestras Itinerantes de la Decimos\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n del Rally en cada uno de los municipios a los cuales pertenece cada crew.<\/li>\n<li>El Festival asignar\u00e1 a una <strong>persona<\/strong> a cada crew la cual <strong>fungir\u00e1 el papel de productor en l\u00ednea<\/strong> semanas previas a las 48 hrs y se sumar\u00e1 a un roll m\u00e1s que necesite el equipo como apoyo, siendo un m\u00e1ximo de dos d\u00edas antes y durante el rodaje.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Para los actores secundarios<\/strong> con base en el tiempo de llamado (s\u00f3lo en caso de ser necesario)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Para el talento que el Festival asigne a cada historia <\/strong>(s\u00f3lo aplica alimentos y transporte dentro del municipio y durante el tiempo de llamado para el rodaje).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Promocionar el evento y su cortometraje ante los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de su localidad.<\/li>\n<li>Promocionar el desarrollo, producci\u00f3n y estreno de su proyecto a trav\u00e9s de sus redes sociales y durante giras de medios.<\/li>\n<li>Deber\u00e1n nombrar a un asesor perteneciente a la plantilla de maestros de su instituci\u00f3n, que fungir\u00e1 como enlace entre la universidad y el festival en caso de ser necesario.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>El COMIT\u00c9 ORGANIZADOR<\/strong> tendr\u00e1 el derecho de exhibir los cortometrajes en eventos sin fines de lucro e incluirlos para muestras fuera de la competencia en eventos encaminados a una campa\u00f1a cultural o educativa.
