Allende<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Tras una primera etapa llena de emociones y sorpresas en Le\u00f3n, el Festival Internacional de Cine Guanajuato se muda a su ciudad natal, San Miguel de Allende, agradeciendo a todos los asistentes y participantes que han hecho posible el \u00e9xito de esta nueva edici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En Le\u00f3n tuvimos la oportunidad de ver la pel\u00edcula <i>Joan Baez \u2014 I Am A Noise<\/i>, de las directoras Karen O&#8217;Connor, Miri Navasky y Maeve O&#8217;Boyle en nuestra celebraci\u00f3n inaugural. Se proyectaron los seis documentales universitarios del certamen Identidad y Pertenencia y se complet\u00f3 el Rally de 48 horas.<\/p>\n<p>GIFF ofreci\u00f3 un homenaje nacional al director Luis Estrada, quien recibi\u00f3 la Cruz de Plata y la Medalla de la Filmoteca de la UNAM, adem\u00e1s de compartir un poco de su experiencia de vida y trayectoria en una conferencia magistral.<\/p>\n<p><i>Perdidos en la noche<\/i>, la \u00faltima pel\u00edcula de Amat Escalante, fue presentada como muestra especial en el Teatro del Bicentenario despu\u00e9s de haber cosechado \u00e9xito en Cannes. El director, junto al elenco y su equipo creativo, participaron en una interesante sesi\u00f3n de preguntas y respuestas con la audiencia.<\/p>\n<p>El viernes 22 GIFF present\u00f3 la estrategia En Guanajuato Cero Violencia Contra la Mujer, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Secretar\u00eda de Salud de Guanajuato, cuya vocera Er\u00e9ndira Ibarra comparti\u00f3 un mensaje de prevenci\u00f3n y emancipaci\u00f3n. Ese mismo d\u00eda estrenamos la cinta <i>Thunder<\/i>, de la directora Carmen Jaquier como parte de la programaci\u00f3n que enfoca la filmograf\u00eda de Suiza, pa\u00eds invitado de honor de este a\u00f1o. En la gala nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3 la agregada de la Embajada de Suiza en M\u00e9xico, Laure Nashed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>GIFF cuenta como cada a\u00f1o con una excelente selecci\u00f3n de 201 pel\u00edculas.
