historias que ha cosechado en su destacada trayectoria<\/b><br \/>\nEn el marco de la vigesimosexta edici\u00f3n del Festival Internacional de Cine Guanajuato, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el s\u00e1bado 22 de julio la conferencia magistral ofrecida por el cineasta Luis Estrada, homenajeado este a\u00f1o con la Cruz de Plata, en el Auditorio Mateo Herrera del Forum Cultural Guanajuato. La sesi\u00f3n estuvo conducida por la periodista f\u00edlmica Columba V\u00e9rtiz.<br \/>\nLa prensa, cin\u00e9filos y el p\u00fablico en general escucharon sobre sus experiencias de vida y su larga carrera en el mundo de la cinematograf\u00eda mexicana, que comenz\u00f3 pr\u00e1cticamente desde su nacimiento. Su acercamiento al cine fue de la mano de su padre, el cineasta Jos\u00e9 Estrada, y su vocaci\u00f3n fue muy clara desde chico.<br \/>\nAutodefinido como un provocador profesional, Luis Estrada abarc\u00f3 en su charla cr\u00edticas al sistema pol\u00edtico mexicano de ayer y hoy y su relaci\u00f3n insana con la producci\u00f3n f\u00edlmica nacional. A pesar de todo, nuestro homenajeado de este a\u00f1o ha podido ejercer su derecho a la libertad de expresi\u00f3n pasando por encima de la censura \u2014y la autocensura\u2014 tratando siempre de hacer, por encima de todo, la mejor pel\u00edcula posible.<br \/>\nEn sesi\u00f3n de preguntas y respuestas el p\u00fablico \u00e1vido le pregunt\u00f3 al director sobre temas diversos como el proceso de creaci\u00f3n de personajes, la infravalorada pel\u00edcula <i>\u00c1mbar<\/i> (de 1994) la dificultad de gestionar el g\u00e9nero sat\u00edrico y el arduo trabajo que implica la direcci\u00f3n de actores.<br \/>\nEn un matiz de actualidad, Luis Estrada acentu\u00f3 las dificultades que implica no s\u00f3lo la llegada de la inteligencia artificial, sino el nuevo modelo de negocios que le han impuesto a la cinematograf\u00eda las plataformas de <i>streaming<\/i>.
