Las inquietudes de la juventud en esa \u00e9poca tuvieron manifestaciones importantes en ciudades como Par\u00eds, Praga, Berl\u00edn o Nueva York. M\u00e9xico no fue la excepci\u00f3n, y el Movimiento de 1968 es una de las marcas hist\u00f3ricas m\u00e1s relevantes del siglo XX en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como parte de su Muestra Especial conmemorando el 50 aniversario de aquel 1968, el GIFF presenta una selecci\u00f3n de documentales dirigidos por el destacado cineasta mexicano \u00d3scar Men\u00e9ndez. Se trata de los t\u00edtulos <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dos de Octubre: Aqu\u00ed M\u00e9xico<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Historia de un Documento: Los Presos Pol\u00edticos del 68 en la C\u00e1rcel de Lecumberri<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00danete Pueblo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00d3scar Men\u00e9ndez es documentalista y fot\u00f3grafo. Estudi\u00f3 en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Pl\u00e1sticas de San Carlos y en la Escuela de Cine de Praga. De admirable trayectoria, se ha desempe\u00f1ado como director y productor de cine y televisi\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de investigador y organizador de festivales. Destaca en su carrera la subdirecci\u00f3n creativa de Canal 13, ser Jefe de Producci\u00f3n de Cortometrajes en los Estudios Churubusco y la fundaci\u00f3n del Archivo Etnogr\u00e1fico del Instituto Nacional Indigenista (INI) junto al cineasta Gonzalo Mart\u00ednez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La proyecci\u00f3n de esta selecci\u00f3n como parte de nuestra Muestra Especial 1968 contar\u00e1 con la presencia del autor.
