{"id":17392,"date":"2017-07-29T05:28:07","date_gmt":"2017-07-29T05:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/giff.mx\/?p=17392"},"modified":"2017-07-29T06:41:22","modified_gmt":"2017-07-29T06:41:22","slug":"peter-weir-homenaje","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/giff.mx\/en\/peter-weir-homenaje\/","title":{"rendered":"Homenaje International a Peter Weir"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u201cM\u00e9xico es un sue\u00f1o, y este festival es un sue\u00f1o dentro de otro sue\u00f1o.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Peter Weir<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">La noche de ayer viernes 28 de julio, se vivi\u00f3 dentro del Teatro Ju\u00e1rez el Homenaje Internacional a Peter Weir, reconocido director australiano del cual destacamos pel\u00edculas como <em>Witness, Master &amp; Commander, Dead Poets Society, Picnic at Hanging Rock y The Truman Show.<\/em> Esta es la tercera vez que Peter Weir visita M\u00e9xico, como mencion\u00f3 el propio realizador australiano; pero esta ocasi\u00f3n fue especial, gracias al honor de recibir este reconocimiento durante la vig\u00e9sima edici\u00f3n del Festival Internacional de Cine Guanajuato.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">La noche inici\u00f3 con la Alfombra Roja, que anteced\u00eda la presencia de esta figura del s\u00e9ptimo arte ganadora de m\u00faltiples premios. Ya en el interior del emblem\u00e1tico Teatro Ju\u00e1rez, se proyect\u00f3 la video semblanza que dio un breve recorrido por los episodios m\u00e1s representativos en la trayectoria de Peter Weir. Posteriormente, el director tom\u00f3 el escenario entre aplausos y la admiraci\u00f3n de la audiencia, para despu\u00e9s agradecer su amabilidad al p\u00fablico presente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">Entre sus palabras, Peter mencion\u00f3 que \u201cM\u00e9xico es como sus fuegos artificiales\u201d. Expres\u00f3 que hay algo en su aire y su atm\u00f3sfera que lo hace m\u00e1gico y eso lo inspira.
