En 2012 \u201cDespu\u00e9s de Luc\u00eda\u201d lleg\u00f3 a la secci\u00f3n Una Cierta Mirada y obtuvo el premio a Mejor Pel\u00edcula. En 2015 es reconocido tambi\u00e9n en la competencia oficial con su pel\u00edcula \u201cChronic\u201d al ganar Mejor Gui\u00f3n. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Franco ha sido parte importante del GIFF. El guionista, director y productor mexicano es un ejemplo de los resultados que el programa MexiCannes ha logrado a trav\u00e9s de la alianza entre GIFF y Cin\u00e9fondation R\u00e9sidence. En 2009 durante esta residencia, desarroll\u00f3 la idea para el filme &#8220;Despu\u00e9s de Luc\u00eda&#8221; y tras su estancia en Par\u00eds regres\u00f3 a GIFF en 2010 para presentar dicho proyecto en el International Pitching Market, donde la casa productora Lemon Films se interes\u00f3 en producirlo.
