Directed by brother Arash and Arman Riahi, Everyday Rebellion is a tribute to all these peaceful movements that throughout history have caused a social and political change all around.<\/p>\n

    Winner of many awards and nominated to an Academy Award for Best Docuementary Feature, The Salt of the Earth is a French production about the career of photographer Sebasti\u00e3o Salgado. For forty years, Salgado has travelled through the continents capturing how humanity changes. He has been a witness to events that have marked our recent history and now he travels to virgin territories, making this a tribute to the beauty of the planet. The documentary will be projected at Cinemex at 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n

      Alina is a woman who returns to her native Rumania. There she reunites with her childhood friend Voichita, the only person she has ever loved and felt protected by. Voichita has changed a lot in the years they\u2019ve spent apart. Now she lives in a convent surrounded by a repressive environment filled with austerity and orthodox religion rules that she has submerged herself into, subject to the priest that imposes to his flock. Alina will do whatever she can to get her friend out of this situation.<\/p>\n

      \"Antola\"<\/a>Once Upon a Time in Antolia (Bir zamanlar Anadolu’da)<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Director: Nuri Bilge Ceylan<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Anatolia is a pen\u00ednsula made in the furthest-West borders of Asia, situated for the most part in Turkish territories. The film tells the journey around the pen\u00ednsula where an attorney, a chief of p\u00f3lice, a medical examiner and several employees that support the operation move two brother who just confessed to a crime and are now looking for a place to bury the body. The search is complicated when the prime suspect confesses he was too drunk during the crime and can\u2019t remember exactly what happened.<\/p>\n

      The film will screen at 8:00 pm at Cinemex.<\/p>\n
