With the goal of stimulating the creation of screenplays which contribute to the strengthening of the national film industry, the State Government of Guanajuato, the Expresi\u00f3n en Corto Foundation, the Mexican Association of Directors and the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE)\u00a0 present the annual National Screenwriting Contest for short and feature films. In 2012, 89 feature films scripts and 114 short films scripts were received.<\/p>\n
