Dead Poets Society

The Guanajuato International Film Festival is honored to present the film Dead Poets Society, one of the most emblematic works of filmmaker Peter Weir, who will receive the Silver Cross during the International Tribute that GIFF will pay to him for his outstanding work in cinema.

The film, which won the Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay in the year 1990, star the late Robin Williams as an English teacher in a very prestigious institution who relates to his students and inspires them through poetry.

The appointment is tonight at 21:00 hrs at the Steps of the University of Guanajuato, which is the best venue to enjoy this acclaimed motion picture. Carpe Diem!
