San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato City represent the heart of the country because of its geographical condition and the warmth of its people. The colonial monuments and architecture that distinguish these cities are the ideal setting for the cinematic celebration offered by GIFF.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 150px;\">San Miguel de Allende is a favorite spot for the world\u2019s artistic community. It\u2019s picturesque and Cosmopolitan characteristics captivate from the get-go. Named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008, the city has been recognized during several occasions as an Ideal Destination in Mexico. This is where we introduce the first stage of the Guanajuato International Film Festival, where we use the Main Garden, Bellas Artes, the Santa Ana and \u00c1ngela Peralta theaters among our venues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 150px;\">The charm of Guanajuato City\u2019s stone-paved alleys and underground streets is without equal. The state\u2019s capital is a city made for legends, a perfect place to set the stage for the second half of our festival and to receive our more than 100,000 participants that accompany us in each edition of the festival.
